Elli Virtanen is a Helsinki/Copenhagen - based dance artist who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Dance and Choreography from The Danish National School of Performing Arts in the summer of 2024.

Alongside her studies, Elli has worked extensively as a dancer and performer in various ensembles both in Finland and abroad. Most recently, she performed as a dancer in Pori Dance Company's spring 2024 production "Sumua/Farewell," choreographed by Olli Lautiola, in the Netflix film "An Honest Life," directed by Mikael Marcimain (premiere in 2024), and in Amos Rex's "GENERATION 2023" exhibition.
Next fall, she will perform as a dancer in the Finnish National Opera's production of "Pohjalaisia." 

In addition to her performance work, Elli also works as a choreographer. Her latest piece, "SOFT BLAST," was a part of Dansehallerne's "New Shit Vol.8" production (2024).
