Olli Lautiola, previously seen as a dancer with Pori Dance Company, now makes his
debut as a choreographer for the company.
Lautiola's new premiere piece, sumua / farewell, explores the feeling of fogginess
and the state of being in transition. The piece is an evanescent, forgetful, uncertain,
yearning, clear, and gradually fading journey into ourselves.
sumua / farewell contemplates whether forgetting can be a liberating experience and
a celebration of change.
The piece will be performed as part of the 2+2 evenings at Pori Theatre on March
10–11, 2024, at 7 PM.
